Well, let me start off this blog by saying something completely honest and from my heart.
This year has been a season of growth for me. I got to release a lullaby project for my nieces this past Christmas, met some amazing people that have challenged me to grow, and have begun to dream a little bit bigger with my creative endeavors.
All of that lead in to say that, honestly, these are some of my best images to date!
Truly. And not to say that other works of mine are less, but these images tell such a loving and compelling story. That's really what my job is as a photographer--to tell a story. I hope you get to see a little glimpse into their story. I sincerely hope you do.
As a creative, I know that I'm constantly growing, constantly adapting and changing my style to integrate all of the things I'm learning. It has been such a blessing to work with all kinds of different people along the way. I want to give a huge thank you to all my creative friends that have been such a support system for me, giving me great advice and walking with me over this past year (Joey, Alyssa, James, Justin, and Sam just to name a few =) Your love and kindness and great conversation has helped challenge me, humble me, and remind me that there's so much more for me to learn.
Jim & Katie - You both are a blessing and it was practically effortless to snap these frames of you two.
You both are incredibly beautiful people inside and out and I could not be more proud of these images. Can't wait for your wedding day =) Enjoy friends!
